Due to its corporate-business oriented profile, BBS, as a university of applied sciences and a leading higher education institution of economic sciences in Hungary, occupies a significant place in the transfer of SME-related knowledge in its bachelor and master programmes. An independent unit, - the Team Academy specialization - based on the Finnish business education model and using new training methods, was established while the master's programme in business development launched in 2015 has become one of the most popular programmes in Hungarian business higher education, based on enrolment figures.
In addition to education and talent management, the BBS management pays special attention to encouraging scientific research related to small and medium-sized enterprises.
