The Internal Audit Office is the supporting organisational unit of the University, and its operational activities are directly subordinate to the Rector, under the leadership of the Head of the Office. Internal audit is an independent body, providing objective assurance and consulting activities aimed at improving the operation of the University and reducing operational risks:
- within the framework of the assurance activity, analyses and evaluates the management processes and the development and operation of the internal control system according to whether it effectively, efficiently and economically ensures the realisation of the organizational goals,
- performing consulting and advisory tasks as a natural continuation of assurance tasks, controls and operational process analyses. This activity pre-supposes maintaining the highest possible standards of objectivity and a thorough knowledge of the organisation’s processes, risks, and strategies.
The Budapest LAB – Office for Entrepreneurship Development helps to spread entrepreneurial culture and strengthens Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises by sharing knowledge. The Budapest Business School (BBS) workshop which supports its strategic goal in partnership with enterprises, aims to develop into a well-known research, development, training and knowledge service base (‘think tank’) for Central European business development.
The Budapest LAB helps to spread entrepreneurial culture and the success of Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises with useful information, research and training.
It engages in international research projects and conducts applied research to provide answers to questions that are extremely important to the Hungarian business community. It publishes the results in an understandable way so that they can become everyday knowledge.
Budapest LAB has launched the Family Business Research Programme, which is the first in Hungary to examine the specifics of that group of entrepreneurs. In addition to family businesses, its research topics focus on start-ups, freelancers, and business mentoring.
Through its online magazine, publications and events, Budapest LAB shares the accumulated knowledge related to entrepreneurship in an interesting and consumable way.
It also inspires business planners and entrepreneurs and develops training in the topics needed for a successful business.
It organises doctoral courses and performs its own administrative and management tasks. In the course of its activities, it cooperates with all faculties, educational, organisational units and heads of the University, especially with the persons entrusted with the organisation of doctoral program. Its head is elected and dismissed by the Doctoral Council of Budapest Business School (hereinafter: EDT), and on this basis, the rector appoints or revokes his managerial position, as well as exercises the employer's rights over the manager and the employees.
BBS' library network is one of the largest service units at our University. Through their activities, they support all members of the university community, whether it be a space for in-depth individual learning or as a community meeting place. The BBS Library Network was established in 2000, and currently includes the three faculty libraries and the Tourism Library.
The Brand Office is a non-educational organisational unit of the University, which directly subordinates to the Rector and performs the tasks related to the communication, PR, marketing and event organisation activities of the University under the leadership of the Office Manager.

BBS Foreign Language Examination Centre operates three examination systems - monolingual economic communication, and bilingual business, tourism and hospitality professional language examination systems - in which it allows the obtaining of state-recognised professional language exam certificates at primary (B1), intermediate (B2) and advanced (C1) levels. The exams in each exam system can be oral, written or complex, with exams in eight languages: Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. Of those eight languages, the number of languages accredited in each professional language examination system, and thus eligible for examination, differs. The Examination Centre organises three examination periods per year and has 17 examination centres nationwide. All of the monolingual and bilingual exams that can be taken at our Examination Centre are accepted in all bachelor’s courses in the field of economics.

The Rector's Office is a functional organisational unit that performs organisational, coordination, and administrative tasks, as well as organisational and administrative tasks related to the meetings of the Rector’s Council and the Senate.
The Sports Office of Budapest Business School began its operations on August 1, 2021, continuing the work started by the former Physical Education and Sports Center. In addition to physical education classes, the Office for BBS Sports places great emphasis on extra-curricular exercise, health-related activities, and competition-level activities that provide more opportunities not only for students, but also for employees.
