Publications & Magazines
Our faculty and researchers have numerous foreign and Hungarian language publications to their credit and hold hundreds of scientific and professional conference presentations each year. The scientific journal of BBS is Prosperitas, which is published four times a year. In addition, our colleagues maintain and publish a number of professional periodicals at the three faculties of BBS.

Prosperitas

The main function of the ‘block’ put together by the guest editor is to allow research communities and research groups to present their empirical and theoretical results together, thus increasing the visibility and citation of their studies. In addition, it is possible for several authors to express their opinions on a topic by arguing with each other, in response to each other's writings. The edited blocks are thus basically thematic, focusing on a topic, problem, or research area.

It is primarily intended to provide a platform for researchers who wish to share their concerns, research dilemmas, theoretical or methodological reviews, or preliminary research findings with the scientific public. The section also provides an opportunity for researchers working on their thesis participating in a PhD program to publish a part of their dissertation that has been transformed into a study, and to receive feedback from lecturers on their work to date.

It is used to display reviews that present recently published scholarly works or an event of interest and concern to the wider scientific community (such as a national or international conference, methodological workshop, etc.). In addition to the permanent sections, the periodical is occasionally happy to publish independent studies in the fields of science represented by BBS that are not related to the topic of the given issue.

Editing process

Papers are peer-reviewed by two anonymous referees and are published only if they are unanimously supported. The editors are selected by the Editor-in-Chief from among the members of the Editorial Board and recognised experts in the field. The editor does not know the identity of the author, nor does the author know the identity of the editor. If the reviewer recommends a major revision, the revised manuscript based on the reviewer's opinion will be sent to the reviewer again for approval.

The final, edited version of the manuscript is always sent by the editorial office to the author for approval. Once the paper has been approved by the author, no further changes can be made. At this point, it is still possible to modify or withdraw the manuscript by notifying the Editor-in-Chief. Modifications are approved by the Editor-in-Chief. Once the final approval has been given, no modifications or retractions of a paper are possible, but the editorial office always provides the possibility for the author to publish clarifications or corrections in a separate article in Prosperitas.
