Tasi Péter és Ann-Cathrin Scheider közös könyvrészlete jelent meg a Routledge Kiadó gondozásában, Dimensions of Leadership: Team Academies as Systems címmel.
Absztrakt:
Leadership in systems has been a highly complex task of balancing needs and creating opportunity for the growth of individuals, teams, and the system itself. This chapter elaborates on leadership in team academies or similar systems. Team academies aim to foster a learning community through action learning, reading, and reflection. In this context, leadership is exercised on different levels. Each level has different needs and requirements for leadership. First, this chapter addresses leadership on the programme level. We consider systems leadership to understand better what can be learnt from this approach for the leadership of team coaches and programme directors in order to set up and facilitate a good learning environment. Secondly, this chapter takes a closer look at leadership within the team companies. Entrepreneurial teams differ from other teams in organizational contexts which is why leadership in these teams is also different. Leadership in team companies cannot be based on hierarchies or other traditional power instruments but is rather an emergent process. As a third dimension, this chapter highlights self-leadership. As a member of a team company, each team entrepreneur has a responsibility to follow leadership approaches within the team as well as showing leadership for him- or herself. In team companies, self-responsibility meets with responsibility for other team members and for the whole team. Therefore, leadership in team academies rather is a constant social experiment, a process with the aim of finding the best solution possible varying over the duration of the programme.
