Introduction
Since 2016, I have been the Rector of Budapest Business University, as well as being responsible for the Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management and the Master's degree in Business Management. From 2010 to 2016 I was the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy at this University, as well as the Head of the Institute of Management and Human Resources of the Faculty from 2009 to 2016. Previously, between 2002 and 2006, I was the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Miskolc, where I was responsible for the MBA programme. I am a non-academic member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences IX. Class, with voting rights. I have been working on the Management Research Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2011. Between 2012 and 2016, I was a member of the Social Sciences Committee of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee. Since 2018 I have been a member of the Board of the Hungarian Rectors' Conference, and since July 2020 the vice-president of this board. I am a member of the Supervisory Board of the International Association of Hungarian Professors. At the beginning of my professional career, I graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Miskolc in 1993 with a degree in economics, then in 1999 with a Ph.D., and in 2007 I was habilitated. Since 2005, I have been teaching as a course leader visiting lecturer at Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, and since 2011 as a visiting professor at the Université de Catholique Lille. I have been working in both Hungarian and multicultural environments as an organisational development consultant since the mid-1990s. My current research is mainly focused on the management and succession of family businesses and the organisational and governance issues of higher education. I deeply believe in the effectiveness of work done through partnership and in a good atmosphere.
