Introduction
I am a professor at the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy (FFA) at Budapest Business University, and I am currently the university's vice-rector for academic development. For both positions, I consider development and improvement, striving for quality, and collective thinking about the future to be of vital importance.
In 1997 I graduated from the Budapest University of Economics and Public Administration (now Corvinus University of Budapest) with a degree in Management Organisation and Sociology. I then obtained my PhD from the Doctoral School of Management of Corvinus University with my dissertation entitled, “Human Resource Management as a Moral Maze”, before achieving the title of habilitated doctor in 2022 at BBU with my dissertation on disability and responsibility.
My university teaching career began in 2003, and since 2012 I have been teaching at BBU and on master’s and post-graduate level programmes at several Hungarian and foreign universities, including Babes Bolyai, Catholic University of Lille, and Corvinus University.
At BBU, I am responsible for the Human Resources undergraduate programme, as well as the HRD specialisation in Leadership and Organisation at master’s level. Primarily, I teach courses related to international human resource management, responsible and ethical management, and participatory methodologies, and am happy to supervise students writing dissertations and/or Student Research Society theses. My key areas of research and publication are the social and labour market inclusion of people with disabilities, the situation of entrepreneurs with disabilities, HR and developmental practices in small and family businesses, responsible and ethical corporate governance, and the future of (business) higher education.
