Introduction
After 9 years of teaching in secondary education, I have been working as a lecturer in higher education since 1994, at the Faculty of Commerce, Catering and Tourism of the Budapest Business School University of Applied Science / Faculty of International Management and Business of the Budapest Business School University of Applied Science, and its predecessor;
Between 1998 and 2015, I ran the BGF KVIK Distance Learning Centre. In the course of my work, in addition to the organization of education, my tasks included directing the development of printed and online study materials in accordance with the methodology of distance education, and utilising communication channels according to student needs to support their studies;
From 2006 to 2014 I was the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Catering and Tourism of BGF / BGE, then from 2014 to 16 I was the Deputy Rector of Education and Services of the Institution;
In September 2016, I was commissioned to head the BGE Education Methodology Centre. My task was to establish an organisation that performs a coordinating and supportive task in the areas of teaching-methodological developments related to the subjects, methodological developments of the curriculum, introduction of new methodological tools and methodology of competence measurements. Under my direction, the educational-methodological strategy of the University was developed, along which a training, information and counselling system supporting the methodological development of the lecturers was developed, and exemplary curriculum developments were implemented;
Since 2018, I have been leading the professional community of the Department of Social Sciences Methodology of Faculty of International Management and Business.
My teaching and research activities focus on three areas: applied informatics - electronic business models, economic mathematics - operations research and electronic teaching-learning
In connection with the topics of commercial informatics, information systems of enterprises, artificial intelligence in the activities of enterprises and the application of IT technologies within tourism, I regularly lead the preparation of dissertations in undergraduate and graduate programmes.
Since 2010, I have been participating in the work of the Károly Ihrig Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences of the University of Debrecen as an opponent, as a member of a public debate jury.
