About the Programme

The programme offers interdisciplinary knowledge suited to the labour market demand to students, who are able to understand and model realistic economic and business processes, formulate problems, and either solve or propose solutions for them. They can make effective use of the opportunities offered by IT systems. Where needed, they can deploy and develop IT systems. With a Bachelor's degree, business information technology specialists are able to apply the knowledge of economics and IT throughout the entire supply chain and perform analytical tasks, thereby supporting the preparation of business decisions and decision-making. Additionally, they can use their communication skills and fluency in foreign languages to cooperate effectively with partners, economic professionals and the IT development staff.

With a bachelor's degree, business information technology specialists are able to apply the knowledge of economics and IT, solve business problems using IT support, perform tasks suited to their qualification with responsibility, learn continuously, extend their own knowledge and acquire new competencies. They can also understand and analyse business processes, participate in the design of software applications supporting execution, apply system development principles and methods, use development tools, and adapt economic applications.

basics of economics, corporate economics, management, accounting integration skills, finance, management organisation, e-business, marketing, business law

IT core material: 

operating systems, office automation, computer and network architectures, database systems, basics of programming, data analysis, multivariate data analysis, foreign language for business, OO design, programming, information system audit, SCM, CRM, foreign language for IT, quality assurance, information system development
