Human Resource Management

The aim of the Human Resources BA programme is to train economists who are able to analyse and solve practical problems related to human capital. Such skills are of increasing importance in the economy, combining both economic and financial knowledge with sound HR expertise. Graduates are able to analyse the structure and operation of labour markets and provide the human resources needed to implement the workplace strategy in question. Graduates are also able to create specific positions and select suitable employees to undertake them. In addition, graduates can develop human resources policies and manage existing organisational knowledge to promote fair employment and contribute to the personal well-being of workers. A special feature of the programme, in conjunction with a focus on effective and successful employment, is to concentrate on the efficiency of Human Resources Management.

The objective of the programme is to release professionally prepared students, through the elective specialisations, who have thorough theoretical and practical skills in the areas of business planning, organization and analysis, building on the knowledge of the operational, management and real processes of businesses. With the acquired skills, graduates can design and develop the strategy, market activity, financial and accounting processes, and business IT system of business organisations, as well as analyse their business results.

Business Informatics
FFA

The programme offers interdisciplinary knowledge suited to the labour market demand to students, who are able to understand and model realistic economic and business processes, formulate problems, and either solve or propose solutions for them. They can make effective use of the opportunities offered by IT systems. Where needed, they can deploy and develop IT systems. With a Bachelor's degree, business information technology specialists are able to apply the knowledge of economics and IT throughout the entire supply chain and perform analytical tasks, thereby supporting the preparation of business decisions and decision-making. Additionally, they can use their communication skills and fluency in foreign languages to cooperate effectively with partners, economic professionals and the IT development staff.

Commerce and Marketing
FIMB
Our Commerce and Marketing programme has a long-standing tradition and market-leading features in the field of marketing and commerce education. Its aim is to release professionals with up-to-date business knowledge, expertise, and skills to the labour market, who are able to perform the procurement and sale of various products and services in a demand-driven manner. Students graduating from this programme will be able to manage the commercial, logistics, and marketing activities of SMEs and large enterprises. The programme is offered by The Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality and Tourism. Here we focuses on omnichannel commerce, traditional and digital commerce, management, logistics, and marketing activities and practices related to domestic and international commerce and service processes, as well as the further expansion of related knowledge and skills. The programme provides sufficient depth of theoretical knowledge to ensure the continuation of one’s studies within the framework of a master’s programme.

The aim of this programme, recognised by Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), is to train communications professionals who understand the full spectrum of the media market, with special emphasis on the principles and practices of news and programming and the tools of digital communications in the functioning and institutional systems of both the private sector and public administration. Graduates will not only possess the most advanced theoretical knowledge with respect to new media (web 2.0), e-communications, and digitization but will also able to apply those skills to their respective work situations.

The objective of the programme is to train specialists for cultural, human and community based social and economic coordination activity, who will be able to operate cultural, church and civil societies, entrepreneurial and non-profit organisations, state or municipal institutions, integrated, multifunctional organisations or institutions, as well as to organise, and for certain institutional levels, manage governmental involvement in relation to the improvement of the social and economic situation of cultural, youth and adult education, at local, community level.

FIMB
The Bachelor's degree programme in international business economics is designed to explore the connections between world economic processes, trends and international trade and to transfer the knowledge of foreign economic policy instruments necessary for setting up and implementing international transactions (transactions in goods and services). The knowledge acquired from the programme enables students to analyse and devise the foreign trade strategy and export-import structure of national economies, to design and manage global supply chain, and to create trading, logistics and financing contracts that enable companies to enter international markets. The programme prepares students for work in the fields of international business development, international sourcing, and sales and logistics both in domestic and international business environments.
