BGE Elite Athlete Mentoring Program
The goal of the Budapest Business University elite sports program is for our athletes, who have achieved outstanding results both domestically and internationally, to achieve success in education in addition to the sports field. This creates the chance of another career in addition to sport.
The mentoring program is intended to facilitate the easier integration of athletes into higher education.
Its purpose, as part of the Dual Life Path model, is to help elite athletes coordinate their athletic and academic tasks. Reconciling being an athlete and the university requires special attention, which the Budapest University of Economics supports with the following:
- individual study and exam schedule
- sports scholarship
- close cooperation with the relevant association
- teacher and student mentors
- support of university sports competitions

Duties of mentors include:

- presentation of scholarship opportunities,
- introducing university cultural and sports programs,
