FFA - Dean's Office

The Dean's Office is the functional organizational unit of the Faculty responsible for organizational, coordination, management, and administrative tasks, headed by the Dean's Office Manager. The Dean's Office is an organization that assists, prepares, and executes the work of the Dean and the Faculty's decision-making bodies.

Responsibilities
  • preparing matters falling within the competence of the faculty leaders, performing administrative and organizational tasks related to the implementation of decisions (including preparing for meetings of the Dean's Council, faculty leadership meetings, and other proposals),
  • preparing memos, minutes, and resolutions related to the operation of the Faculty and forwarding them to the parties concerned,
  • collecting, analyzing, and providing data, ensuring the internal flow of information related to work,
  • providing information necessary for the decisions of the dean and vice deans and the work of the Dean's Council, organizing, compiling, preparing, and completing records and reports,
  • performing the tasks of the Dean's Secretariat (in particular, handling the correspondence of the dean and deputy deans, organizing their programs, meetings, and discussions),
  • administrative tasks related to the operation of faculty vehicles,
  • forwarding faculty mail, performing archiving tasks, managing records, supervising filing and disposal activities,
  • assisting in the signing of non-salary and non-employment-related certificates and notifications, and distributing vouchers,
  • liaising with faculty student organizations, supporting the activities of student representative bodies,
  • making proposals for the draft text of regulations, instructions, and circulars falling within the dean's competence, preparing the text, publishing it, and monitoring its implementation,
  • organizing faculty events, supporting centrally organized events,
  • participating in the faculty's gift purchasing and event planning procedures,
  • organizing and supervising faculty communication activities, supervising faculty participation in university marketing,
  • performing organizational and administrative tasks related to the conclusion of education-related contracts and performance certificates in cooperation with the departments,
  • supporting the education organization processes taking place in the departments in cooperation with the vice dean for education and the department heads.
