Pursuant to Section 151 (1) of the Student Requirements System: a scholarship available through an additional application may be awarded to students who strive to achieve outstanding results beyond curricular requirements, for example through participation in professional competitions or scientific conferences.

The Faculty of Marketing and Business Communication of Budapest University of Economics and Business aims to support students who are active in professional and scientific fields.

Therefore, the faculty announces the following call within the framework of a dedicated professional-scientific scholarship fund:

A one-time extraordinary professional-scientific scholarship will be awarded to full-time undergraduate students of BUEB who participated in the DEBATE competition (in either the English or Hungarian section), organized by the Communication Department of the Faculty of Marketing and Business Communication and supported by the National Media and Infocommunications Authority, and whose team achieved 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.

Students (3 members per team) who achieved:

·        1st place will receive HUF 30,000 per person,

·        2nd place will receive HUF 15,000 per person,

·        3rd place will receive HUF 10,000 per person.

A total of 18 students may receive the scholarship.

Applicants must attach to the application form a properly issued certificate (signed) by the competition organizer.

Incorrect or incomplete applications will result in exclusion from the scholarship.

By submitting the application, the student declares, under criminal liability, that the information provided is accurate and may be verified by the competent authority.

Applications may be submitted:

·        in printed form, in a sealed envelope, in one copy, to the Dean’s Office of the Faculty

of Marketing and Business Communication by the specified deadline, or

·        electronically (with signed and scanned documents) to: odh.mukk@uni-bge.hu

Applications will be evaluated by a committee consisting of the Vice- Dean for Academic Affairs and a student representative delegated by the Students’ Union.

Application deadline: 20. 04. 2026.

Applications will be evaluated within 5 days. After evaluation, successful applicants will be notified and their contracts will be prepared.
