Applicants are notified by email, sent from the designated email address, of any missing or incomplete documents that need to be corrected or submitted. The email specifies the deadline for submitting the required documents. In such cases, applicants have 5 days from the date of notification to upload the required documents directly to the application system. Documents submitted by email will not be accepted. Please also note that applications for which all mandatory documents have not been uploaded by the deadline will be automatically rejected.
5. Selection process and criteria
The evaluation of applications is based on the students’ cumulative adjusted credit index (KKKI). As significant differences may occur between programmes and cohorts due to variations in academic curricula, and in order to ensure equal treatment of applicants, the ranking of KKKI values is carried out separately for each programme and cohort. Accordingly, applicants within the same programme and cohort are divided into 60 categories proportionally to the number of applicants (number of applicants / 60). Students in the first category receive 60 points, students in the second category receive 59 points, and so on. Any additional points defined in the present Call for Applications are added to this calculated score.
In the event that two or more applicants receive the same score, further ranking between them is only required if the number of eligible applications exceeds the number of students who can be supported within the available quota or budget. In such cases, the applicants’ exact KKKI values are taken into account. If these are also identical, the individual points awarded for additional activities are considered. If a tie still remains, additional supporting documents may be requested, on the basis of which the relevant Faculty makes the final decision.
As part of the evaluation process, all applications will be cross-checked against the official administration of the compulsory traineeships in the Online Career Platform (OKP) to verify that the required administrative process has been initiated. Initiating the internship administration in OKP is a prerequisite for submitting an application for the Pannónia Scholarship.
Please note that initiating the process is sufficient at the application stage; however, if the applicant is awarded the scholarship, the Pannónia Grant Agreement cannot be concluded until the entire administrative process related to the compulsory traineeship has been successfully completed in OKP.
As the administrative process also requires action from the host organisation/company, it is the student’s responsibility to inform the host organisation/company of the required administrative steps and to ensure that the process is completed in due time.
