Interdisciplinary approaches to addressing the opportunities and challenges posed by digitalization and artificial intelligence
For more than twenty years each November the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) organises events for the Celebration of Hungarian Science. This distinguished event of Hungarian scientific life includes programmes held both in Hungary and abroad. Following suit, Budapest University of Economics and Business is joining this year’s event by organising a conference entitled: Interdisciplinary approaches to addressing the opportunities and challenges posed by digitalization and artificial intelligence.
As part of the BUEB Day of Hungarian Science, this international conference brings together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers from diverse disciplines to explore the multifaceted impacts of digitalization and artificial intelligence on society, economy, culture, and science. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, the event aims to deepen our understanding of both the opportunities and the challenges posed by these rapidly evolving technologies. Participants will examine critical issues such as labor market transformation, education, innovation, digital governance, ethical AI, and the reshaping of human interactions. The conference serves as a platform to share research, exchange best practices, and develop collaborative strategies for responsible and inclusive technological development.
