Short-term Opportunities

Short-term mobility opportunities at BGE offer students a flexible way to gain international experience through study visits, research activities, conferences, or summer schools lasting typically between 2 and 30 days. These programmes are designed to complement students’ academic paths by providing valuable professional, cultural, and networking experiences abroad, while remaining accessible alongside their studies.

Supported by the Pannónia Scholarship Programme, participants can benefit from financial support and full academic recognition, making short-term mobility an ideal option for those seeking a more flexible international experience.

How to Apply

Calls for applications are announced through Neptun messages and published on the DreamApply platform. Submit your application directly through DreamApply by the stated deadline. Selected participants will be notified by the Office for International Relations.

Financial Support

Scholarship amounts vary depending on the length and the destination of the mobility: 25 000–35 000 HUF per day, depending on study level, destination, and duration.

Credit recognition

Short-term mobility programmes carry 2 or 3 ECTS credits as an optional subject (Rövid külföldi tanulmányút A–H), depending on the duration of the programme. You will be enrolled in the course automatically; no separate request is required in Neptun.

After returning, upload your mobility report to DreamApply. This report serves as the course assessment; once approved, your credits will be recorded. The credits are free of charge and do not count toward the 10% credit overload limit.
