University costs are a great financial burden for many families. The BUEB seeks in a number of ways to help ensure that no one is left out of higher education for financial reasons. Several scholarships have been set up for talented students in different fields, and scholarships can also be applied for based on academic and social needs. In addition, there are discounts for students studying in the form of self-funded funding.
At the Budapest University of Economics and Business, the system of student tuition and social allowances and benefits is regulated by Decree 51/2007 on the allowances and certain allowances to be paid by higher education students. (III. 26.) on the basis of the Government Decree and the provisions of the Decree. According to the regulations, students can receive the following benefits.
BUEB Scholarship (Requirement System For Students of BUEB 97 §)
The “BUEB scholarship" aims to provide financial support to BUEB students self-funding their tuition fees who have shown outstanding academic achievement but who are in need of financial support, in order to continue their studies. The scholarship is awarded through an application process, and it is financed from the University's own revenues or additional resources involved, according to the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for the BUEB.

Scholarships provided by the state
National Higher Education Scholarship (Requirement System For Students of BUEB 91 §)
To maintain high academic and professional standards, national scholarships of higher education are awarded to students of higher education institutions who
- have achieved outstanding academic results, and
- have excelled in their professional field (e.g., participation in TDK competitions, public, professional, sports activities, etc.) in the academic year.

University Sports Scholarship (Requirement System For Students of BUEB 108/A §)
The aim of the University Sports Scholarship is to provide support to students who, in addition to their university studies, have achieved outstanding national or international sports results and/or have performed sports organizing tasks in the sports life of the BUEB.
