Times Higher Education Impact Ranking
The Budapest Business University (BBU) has been included for the second time in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, one of the world's most important rankings evaluating universities based on their sustainability activities.
BBU conducts its sustainability activities in alignment with the university's vision and mission, aiming to achieve a positive social impact with its committed university community and to equip students with the ability to actively apply sustainability principles.
The THE Impact Rankings assess the activities of more than 2,000 higher education institutions in line with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals. BBU reported on its activities related to all 17 sustainable development goals and improved its position in every category, joining other Hungarian universities on the list in playing a leading role in promoting sustainability.
Times Higher Education World University Ranking
Our university has been included in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings (WUR), one of the most prestigious university rankings in the world!
THE WUR is one of the most respected rankings of higher education and includes only the best universities from 115 countries. The performance of institutions is assessed by experts on 18 indicators, including their teaching and research activities, corporate relations and international reputation. BBU is the first university to be included in the 2025 list, along with 15 universities in Hungary.
Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings
In 2024, the Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings were published for the first time, in which our university is listed with Reporter status.
AASHE STARS Ranking
Our university is the only Hungarian institution listed in the AASHE Stars Ranking list.
