Information about the enrolment

Dear Newly Admitted Student,

The online enrolment process for students admitted for the fall semester of the 2026/2027 academic year has begun at our University. The process is manageable and can be completed easily by following the steps below.

The full enrolment process has TWO PARTS:

1. Online Registration part: complete the Enrolment request online in the Neptun system between 03/08/2026 – 15/09/2026

2. In person on Campus part: submit the documents in person at one of our Enrolment Day!

If any of your personal data has changed since submitting your application, please have those details updated through Student Customer Services before beginning the enrolment application.

The main steps of the enrolment process are as follows:

You have to login to the University's IT system by creating your password HERE.
Have your Neptun code ready (we sent your Nepun code in an email at the beginning of August 2026.)
The first step of enrolment is to complete the Enrolment Application in the Neptun system. You can download the tutorial for the Neptun HERE and you can find information about the Neptun two-factor authentication HERE. Check the name of your programme. The name of your programme is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Please note: If you have previously been a student at Budapest University of Economics and Business or are enrolled in more than one programme, make sure that you enrol in the programme to which you have now been admitted.
Download the Enrolment Form and, if you are enrolling as a self-financed student, the Student Training Contract (two copies required from the contract!). Sign the documents by hand using a blue pen.
Submit the documents in person at one of our Enrolment Day!

You will find all additional important information below, according to your study type/ financial or scholarship status. Please make sure that you follow the steps and have all the required documents. Please be advised that without successful enrolment, you will not be able to continue your studies, and your student status will be terminated.

Let’s now go through the steps by detail:

If you are an Erasmus, DVH or Freemover Student:

Submit your enrolment request in the Neptun system: go to Menu/Administration/Term registration, then click on the ‘Enroll’ button. Select ‘active’ status for the 2026/27/1 term.

Check and fill in the application form – you may skip the parts that are not relevant to you! If any pre-filled data is incorrect, please inform the Student Services Office before submitting the application.
Download the enrolment document by choosing the Administration/Requests/Submitted requests menu and click on the FORM DOWNLOAD button.

Print and sign the registration form using a blue pen.
Submit the documents in person at one of our Enrolment Day!

o Zuglo Campus:

10/09/2026, Wednesday from 10 AM till 3 PM

o City Campus:

16/09/2026, Thursday from 10 AM till 3 PM

If you are a Stipendium Hungaricum or Diaspora Student:

Submit your enrolment request in the Neptun system: go to Menu/Administration/Term registration, then click on the ‘Enroll’ button. Select ‘active’ status for the 2026/27/1 term.

Check and fill in the application form – you may skip the parts that are not relevant to you! If any pre-filled data is incorrect, please inform the Student Services Office before submitting the application.
Download the enrolment document by choosing the Administration/Requests/Submitted requests menu and click on the FORM DOWNLOAD button.

Print and sign the registration form using a blue pen.
Submit the documents in person at one of our Enrolment Day!

Bring the following documents with you (all mandatory!)

signed registration form
your ID or passport
copy of your ID or passport
your high school certificate or bachelor diploma
the copy of your high school certificate or bachelor’s diploma and its certified English translation
the certificate of your Hungarian address downloaded from your Enter Hungary profile (“szálláshely-igazolás” with a QR code) link ide
copy of your Letter of Award from Tempus Foundation
we will ask you to sing the pre-filled health insurance application form and the power of attorney to make the administration easier (The university will provide support for obtaining social security entitlements and supplementary health insurance.)

If you are a Self-Financed Student:

Submit your enrolment request in the Neptun system: go to Menu/Administration/Term registration, then click on the ‘Enroll’ button. Select ‘active’ status for the 2026/27/1 term.

Check and fill in the application form – you may skip the parts that are not relevant to you! If any pre-filled data is incorrect, please inform the Student Services Office before submitting the application.
Download the enrolment document by choosing the Administration/Requests/Submitted requests menu and click on the FORM DOWNLOAD button

Print and sign the registration form using a blue pen.
Download the student training contract from your Neptun: Menu/Administration/General form – load more: Student Training contract EN_admitted students
Print and sign the training contract twice using a blue pen! – one copy is for you after our dean signed it as well.

Submit the documents in person at one of our Enrolment Day!
