Committee of Hall of Residence (KOB)

The Committee of the Hall of Residence is also part of the Student Union, its members are elected from students living in the hall of residence and consists of 7 members at the moment.


The competence of the Committee of the Hall of Residence covers all issues about the life in the Hall of Residence and makes decisions about any problematic cases. The Admissions Committee of the Hall of Residence decides which students can be admitted to the dormitory. Other tasks include organizing cultural programs, sports programs and professional events for hall of residence students.

Tasks of the Committee of the Hall of Residence:


  • The Committee of the Hall of Residence prepares and submits the rules and regulations of the hall of residence, the one-year work plan and events schedule to the assembly. The Committee of the Hall of Residence can make proposals for building up the self-government offices and the hall of residence requirements.
  • The Committee supervises the adherence to the operational rules and regulations of the hall of residence.                      
  • Being part of the Admissions Committee of the Hall of Residence (KFB), it also decides which students can be admitted to the dormitory.
  • Decides about the grants received from the Student Union and other legal entities, and proposes the use for partial grants from any other sources.
  • Other tasks include organizing cultural events, sports events, and professional events for students.
  • The events of the Hall of residence Committee are funded by grants from sponsors and the budget of the university.
