One of our colleagues is a core member and lecturer at the Doctoral School of Entrepreneurship and Business, and several of our colleagues are involved in the work of the Doctoral School as consultants.
Postgraduate specialist training programmes
Representing the diversity of tourism professions, our colleagues come from a wide range of scientific and professional backgrounds. The fields represented in our research and teaching include economics, management, regional studies, geography as well as social sciences and humanities. Thanks to this diversity and in line with the current practices in teaching, tourism is taught in a modern and multidisciplinary approach.
Some of our lecturers pursue a classical academic career, enriching Hungarian and international tourism literature with valuable publications. Other faculty members joined the teaching profession after or in parallel with a significant professional career, ensuring a decisive presence of practical professional knowledge in the courses offered by the Department.
The main fields of research of the Department
