Introduction
I received my degree in English linguistics and literature at ELTE Budapest. I undertook a research project for my MA thesis at Universität Wien, and for my PhD thesis at Helsinki University. In 2012 I defended my dissertation in the field of English historical linguistics at ELTE.
During my university years (MA, PhD) I had the chance to teach English as a foreign language at MOL Rt., at Zrínyi Miklós National Defence University and at Helsinki University. I also provided classes in English linguistics and English historical linguistics at ELTE.
I became a full-time language teacher at Semmelweis University in February 2012. At BBS-FIMB first I was a part-time instructor from September 2012, then I was offered a full-time position as an assistant professor in February 2013.
From autumn 2013 I have been an accredited active language examiner at The Foreign Language Examination Centre of the Budapest Business School.
At BBS-FCHT first I was a part-time instructor from September 2015, then I a full-time assistant professor in February 2017.
Besides my activity in Hungary, I have been invited as a visiting professor to Haaga Helia, Finland and to Duale Hochschule Baden-Württenberg, Germany. I have also given courses in Odorheiu Secuiesc for BBS stuents in Transylvania. Besides my teaching activities, I have taken part in organising trips (Hungary, other countries), group leading (Hungary, Austria) and tour guiding (Budapest, Székesfehérvár, Balaton, Helsinki).
