Introduction
I graduated from ELTE Faculty of Humanities in 1995. I started my language teaching career in addition to my university studies, and from 1993 to 2000 I taught at Gundel Károly High School of Catering and Tourism. Here I started to teach the specific language of tourism and hospitality. In addition to teaching, I also received a guide license in 1999. I have been working at the Institute and at the Department since September 2001. I completed my doctoral studies at the Doctoral School of Educational Science at ELTE PPK, my topic was the development of writing skills in foreign language for specific purposes. I defended my PhD dissertation in 2009 with a summa cum laude (100%) rating. I am involved in teaching Research Methodology in Hungarian. I am responsible for the Presentation Skills course, which I teach in Hungarian and German. As an academic supervisor I help the thesis work of the students (in Hungarian). My scientific articles and studies are published in Hungarian, German and English, and I have also contributed to the writing of several language books, university course books, curricula and professional books. I also participate in the work of the Foreign Language Examination Centre as an examiner, item writer and reviewer. I was involved in several Hungarian and international projects of the Foreign Language Examination Centre and took an active part in developing the accreditation material for the monolingual exam. Between 2012 and 2014, I also held methodological and presentation trainings for colleagues at Hungarian universities (Debrecen, Nyíregyháza). Since the fall of 2018, I have been a theoretical expert at the Accreditation Centre for Foreign Language Examinations of the Educational Authority. I am a member of several domestic and foreign professional organizations.
