Introduction

I graduated at ELTE receiving a MA in English language and literature (including a teaching degree and a specialisation in applied linguistics) and a MSc in physics teaching. After graduation I continued my studies on the Translation Studies PhD programme at the same institution. In the meantime, I spent 15 months in Australia, where I studied marketing and worked in various positions including research assistant at the University of New South Wales. After returning to Hungary I gained further experience working for language schools and as a freelancer for BUEB, where I was soon offered a position.

My research focuses on the language of science which I analyse using discourse analytical methods. Furthermore, I am working on expanding my knowledge in the application of computer-based methods for enhancing the scope of my research projects.
