Introduction
I started my studies at the Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Teacher Training, where I got a qualification as a teacher of English language and literature and a librarian in. I continued my studies in English at the Faculty of Humanities of ELTE. During my university studies, I worked as an English teacher at language schools. From 2001 I started my career at Budapest Business School as a supply teacher; since then I have been teaching Business English and English for Tourism to undergraduate students. In addition, I kept courses for business language examinations at the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Between 2002 and 2006, I held English for specific Purposes courses, especially for tourism, at the secondary school of János Xantus. Since 2006 I have been a member of staff at the language Department. In recent years I have been teaching mainly English for specific purposes (tourism), presentation skills (in Hungarian) and intercultural communication in English. Since 2003, I have been an examiner at the Language Exam centre of Budapest Business School. I am mainly involved in item writing, exam development and examining tasks. In 2011, I obtained a PhD degree at the Doctoral School of Applied Linguistics at the University of Pannonia. My field of research is the terminology of modern tourism, and I also take an interest in developing extra curriculum materials for our courses. I have been in charge of the Language Examination Centre since 2018.
