Introduction
I graduated as an economist and marketing manager BSc in the School for Modern Business Sciences (recently the Edutus University) and as an economist MA in the Széchenyi István University. After receiving my BSc degree, I worked as a marketing manager for SMEs in the IT, manufacturing and service sectors. I am also sole entrepreneur since 2002, I have a mentoring and consultant company. I received my PhD degree in regional economics in the Doctoral School of Regional Sciences of the Széchenyi István University in 2016. The topic of my PhD research was innovation management, the effectiveness of innovation intermediary organizations. Since 2017 I also do researches in the field of creative and cultural industry – I am peculiarly interested in the East Asian culture, e.g. Korean cultural industry (K-pop and K-Drama). Recently I started researches about the diffusion and spreading of the Korean culture.
I have been working in higher education more than 14 years. First, I worked as a project manager of projects supported by the European Union than I started to teach 12 years ago. I started to teach in the Budapest Business School – University of Applied Sciences in 2020. I have experience in teaching subjects in English and in Hungarian like project management, innovation management, regional and international economics, marketing and communication. Previously in other higher educational institutes I worked as a leader of department and a leader of the research and innovation offices.
During my classes, I not only aim to deliver the theoretic knowledge to my students but I always try to share my experiences that they can use nor only in their business carrier but in their private lives too. I like using innovative teaching methods like project work or role-playing in which I have significant experiences.
I have more than 12 years’ experience in project planning and management. I participated in the management of European Union supported higher educational projects like the establishment of a Career Office or the Technology Transfer Offices of universities. I participated in the management and implementation of several international events and conferences – e.g. a national city marketing conference, LEGO Robot competitions (World Robot Olympiad, FIRST LEGO League), Science Day Conferences, etc.
I am a member of the Regional Innovation Subcommittee of the Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Science since 2011 and a member of the Hungarian Regional Science Association since 2015. I was an active board member of the Dunaujvaros Club of the Hungarian Marketing Association between 2004 and 2014.
I have research partners in several countries like the USA, Brazil, South Korea, Greece, the Netherlands, Japan, UK, Spain, France, Romania, Slovakia and France. I gave lessons in Greek, Dutch and South Korean Universities – e.g. the Alexander Technological University, Saxion University, Babes-Bolyai University and Sungshin University.
