My research interests include educational methodology, literature, visual arts and movement arts. My work as a translator includes the translation of novels, short stories and poetry from Italian. At BGE KVIK, I taught Italian language for tourism, presentation skills and career planning between 1995 and 2024. As head of the Italian department, I headed the Neolatin department for three years. I have been involved in the BGE Language Examination Centre as a task setter and examiner, as well as a language coordinator. I conducted methodological research on the effectiveness of the presentation skills training course on communication skills. I was the initiator and coordinator of the Methodology Workshop in the department. I have participated in Erasmus study trips and training courses in Norway, Iceland and Italy. In my teaching activities, I regularly follow research areas related to methodology, motivation, autonomous and cooperative learning, and since 2019 I have been working on the Corall (Coaching-oriented Online Resources for the Autonomous Learning of LSP) project (2019-2021), which was awarded to the Department of Business Languages as an Erasmus+ Higher Education Strategic Partnership grant. I continued my doctoral studies on my psychodrama experiences and the impact of drama, and defended my dissertation at the Faculty of Humanities of ELTE in 2013. In my PhD thesis I analysed the phenomenon of theatre in prisons, a specific field of contemporary Italian theatre, through the work of the Compagnia della Fortezza company in Volterra. I received my mediation qualification at the Partners Hungary Foundation training in 2017. I was the editor of the Italian-Hungarian and Hungarian-Italian dictionaries republished in 2000 by Akadémiai Publishers. My work as a translator includes short stories, essays and poems. I regularly write book reviews for the weekly magazine Élet és Irodalom. For many years, I have been helping the Hungarian Translation House Foundation and some foreign translators who translate Hungarian works of fiction into their own languages I am a member of the Society of Writers of Fiction.
