Introduction
I earned my MA degree in German Language and Literature after graduating from the University of Szeged in 1997. I started my career at the Budapest Business School in 1996 as a part-time teacher, since then I have been teaching mainly Business German to undergraduate students majoring in Commerce and Marketing. Throughout my professional years, I took a course in tourism, attained a second MA degree in Portuguese Language and Literature at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest and later I completed a degree course in Teaching Portuguese as a Foreign Language at the University of Porto. I worked as a freelance examiner, gained experience in corporate language training at several companies. I taught Portuguese, German (general and LSP: German for IT and Military). I spent eight summer seasons in Portugal, where I had an on-the-job training in the field of tourism, catering and foreign languages. I have been a member of staff at the Department since 2010, where I also take part in the item writing and examining tasks of the BBS Exam Centre. I defended my PhD dissertation in 2016 at the University of Pécs. My research interests lie in language politics concerning Portuguese and other languages. I became a member of the Hungarian Accreditation Board for Foreign Language Examinations in 2014, and was promoted to serve as the Head of the Board in 2015. Since then, I have been taking an active part in the quality assurance processes of the Hungarian foreign language examinations.
