Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality and Tourism

I spent twenty-five years in my professional and fifteen years of lecturing and research career in trade / international trade, finance, public warehouse, stock / commodity exchange and banking. Since 2018, I have been the Head of the Commerce and Marketing Institute, and I was the Head of Department of Commerce for eight years. During my professional work, I have held different levels of management positions, starting from a Sales Manager through a Sales Director to the President and CEO. I have participated in the work of directorates, supervisory boards and professional associations. I earned my PhD degree in 2004 and the Dr. habil. title in 2010, both in Management & Business. I received the University Private Professor title in 2018. I published an independent book entitled "International commodity and exchange trading transactions" in 2011 which functions as a textbook on the topics I lecture. I am author or co-author of many Hungarian and international publications, including ten other books. I have published two English notes abroad; my English electronic notes for foreign language courses are available on Coospace. I am responsible for International Trading Techniques and Logistics as well as Price Risk Management and Futures Exchange in Hungarian and English language courses. In addition, I lecture in MBA courses in Hungary and abroad. The most important priority is the Institute, as well as the development of foreign language courses and international relations of the Departments. The benefits are the mobility of students and lecturers, for gaining experience abroad, on one hand and for participation in joint international education projects on the other hand. Knowledge of foreign students and guest teachers coming to our institution are also benefits. I have three children, the oldest graduated on the faculty on one of the English language courses and the smallest is our student; participating in the Spanish double degree course now. If I am not at the university, then I am sitting on a motorcycle.
