Introduction
I graduated in Hungarian language and literature, and German language and literature at ELTE Teacher Training College in 1994, then at ELTE Faculty of Humanities in 1996. In 1997 I obtained a qualification as a tour guide and hostess. I worked as a freelance translator as well as a German language teacher for several language schools and companies. I was a press officer and cultural manager at the Institute for Hungarian Culture in Vienna. I completed all the courses at the doctoral programme for translators and interpreters at ELTE Doctoral School of Languages in 2010. I have been working at Budapest Business School since 2017. I mainly teach German for tourism purposes and intercultural communication. My research interests are pragmatics, translation competences, translation of swear-words and intercultural communication.
