Introduction

There are relationships which last forever… If my connection with FCHT falls into this category, only time will tell, however I am certain that we are on the right track.
During my High School years there were only two things I knew I loved: baking and travelling. With these in mind, I ended up at BBS’ tourism & hospitality course in 2010. I obtained a degree specializing in hospitality & hotel management, furthermore I was awarded the Republican Scholarship twice. As I have always had a soft point for journalism, during my BA studies I have also worked as the executive editor at the Agy-A-Lap student magazine leading a team of 25 people.
I spent my 6 months internship at the BroAdmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs in 2013 as the cheerful member of the Amenities Department which has been a lifetime experience for me. Returning home, I wrote my thesis on the reforming of school dinners and my participation in conferences as a lecturer since then shows my enthusiasm towards this topic.
After receiving my diploma in 2014 I was striving to find my place in the hotel industry and to continue my studies. During the summer I started my career at the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace as a Room Service Server, and at the same time, not leaving my Alma Mater, I have successfully applied for the Teacher of Economics Master’s course and by the time I graduated in 2016 I became a Front Desk Agent at the Gresham Palace.
Still I was not able to abandon the University, so I switched sides and became a part-time lecturer as soon as I had received my MA diploma. I have always showed great interest in gamification, so I had written my thesis about this topic, which earned a 3rd place for me at the national competition organized by EcoSim Kft. Using my research results and experience I do my best to apply gamification everywhere I can. This is the reason that in my class students can earn Galleons or Golden Dragons instead of points.
In the summer of 2017, I left the Gresham Palace and became the Night Manager of Aria Hotel Budapest which was awarded the Best Hotel of the World according to TripAdvisor Users. After living in the night for 2.5 years I returned to the light to continue my career as an Assistant Front Office Manager until the summer of 2020. That year I had accepted a challenging opportunity to be the leader of the reception at the freshly built Agora centre, where my main responsibility was to implement the traditional concierge services into an innovative office concept.
