Introduction
I graduated from Bólyai János Military Technical College of Hungary in 1993 with a degree in military operation management. After the inauguration, between 1993 and 1996, I served in the bond of the 64th BSzJ Logistics Regiment of the Hungarian Armed Forces as a professional soldier, where I led the purveyance logistic branch. As a logistics officer, I was an active participant in the organization and management of the Hungarian units participating in the South Slavic War as peacekeepers and later in the Hungarian technical contingent involved in the reconstruction. During my tenure, I completed an additional degree at the College of Finance and Accounting, optaining a degree of “civil” economics in 1996. That year I disarmed from the Hungarian Armed Forces and took a job in business, at that time taking on the position of an executive director of a Hungarian medium-sized wood industry company. As the leader of this production-focused enterprise, I gained a wealth of valuable experience in the practical application of production management and process organization. In order to strengthen my career in business, I continuously trained myself, for which I obtained a master's degree in economics in 1999 from Janus Pannonius University, and at the successor of this university I also received an MBA in 2000 from the joint program of the University of Pécs and the University of Middlesex. After earning my MBA, I switched from business to higher education, where I have made more than 20 years of teaching experience. From 2000 to 2004 I taught at the College of Dunaújváros as a college teaching assistant, then from 2004 I joined the Tomori Pál College, where I was an college assistant professor, later a college associate professor, then a head of department, and finally an appointed rector. During my teaching career, I earned my PhD at the Doctoral School of Military Science at the National University of Public Administration in 2013.The title of my doctoral dissertation was "Conceptual study of the applicability of marketing logistics in the field of military logistics". Following my successful graduation, I remained in the faculty of TPF until 2021. In 2021, I changed institutions and since then I have been the strategic director of Wekerle Sándor Business College, and I also participate in the work of the institution as a lecturer, teaching mainly logistic subjects. I joined the Department of Commerce of the BBS FCHT faculty from February 2022, also teaching logistic subjects such as Supply Chain Management, Process Management in Hungarian and English. I live in Dunaújváros with my wife and three children, enjoying a slightly slower flow of "rural life". In my free time, my passion is martial arts, in which I have also competed in various branches and styles , winning age-appropriate medals at domestic competitions, Hungarian championships, continental and world competitions.
