The complete list of available courses is subject to changes and modifications. Please note that some of these courses will not be instructed in classes, but in the form of individual contact hours with the teachers.

The final assessment of your studies will be given on the basis of the following elements: number of contact hours, individual project work (individual elaboration of specialised literature) in the departmental or central libraries, submitted interim reports (if requested by the teachers), final report/exam (oral or written).

At the end of your studies, the International Office will issue a Transcript of Records about the courses you completed and the credits you obtained. The credits stated on the Transcript are equivalent to the ECTS credit points, there is no need for further conversion.

Description: The objective of the course is to help students acquire the basic knowledge that will enable them to communicate with their business partners and their partners in a wide-ranging field of business, in an appropriate manner, in oral and written manners. They will be acquainted with the written, most common forms of communication, their external and content requirements. We review the more frequent communication situations, their preparation, their processes and their related protocols in public/business life. Students will be acquainted with the verbal expression genres, forms of expression, and the accompanying written documents. The aim is to use role-playing games to confront students with their own communication skills and style, their effectiveness, problem-solving and solving abilities. Business requires inter-cultural communication skills, so the basis for presenting the basics of the subject is also presented.

The object of the subject is to make the students aware that accounting is not a separate activity in the firm. Still, it is an information system to provide different types of information effectively to the internal and external users of the annual report. The communication role of accounting will be familiarized with the student, stressing out the importance of methodology of accounting in business life. 

It is essential to obtain the basic theoretical knowledge of accounting, to know the logic of accounting, the principles and the practice to help the accounting and communication activities of firms.

Description:

Information Technology is a one-term course that surveys computer science and information technology with emphasis on computer business applications. The unit investigates the application of computer technology, looking at the basics, the languages of programming, together with the applications of computers. 

Students study the theory of information processing and the possible options for information transfer. They will be exposed to computer concepts including terminology, communications, networking, Internet usage, protection, ethical issues. The course incorporates the basics of databases, data warehousing and information generation. 

Work in the computer centre focuses on the commonly used software applications, word processing, spreadsheets and database management. Common database management systems are introduced focusing on data analysis. 

In the case of online way, the student has to participate in the online lessons and has to do each of the tests and requires, too.

Description:

Management Accounting study gives a summary of information that is needed for the management to make different decisions. The aim is to teach the student what kind of information and data are necessary to the management, at what level these shall be provided and which division in the business activity. After learning the methods of calculations, the students will learn the book-keeping of the whole production activity, using the nature of costs, cost centres and cost objects. It will give them a wider and deeper understanding of cost recognition and analysis. 

Students will be able to determine and understand the role of Managerial Accounting compared to Financial Accounting. Description: This course is practice-oriented, requiring students to develop presentation and language skills during the seminars. Students will undertake assignments and deliver their presentations to fellow students throughout the course.

Description: This course introduces the basic concepts of mathematical modelling and optimization. The emphasis is on the practical application of quantitative reasoning. The goal is to provide students with pragmatic skills for compiling mathematical models for problems stemming from the economy and for making decisions based on the model. Topics covered include the basics of mathematical programming, sensitivity analysis, integer programming, transportation problems, assignment problems, network models, and decisions under uncertainty.
