International Opportunities
Are you interested in the culture of other countries?
Do you want to study in an international environment with a scholarship?
Do you want to acquire intercultural skills?
Would you improve your language skills?
Do you want to gain an advantage in the labour market?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, find out about the international opportunities available on our website!

During your university studies, you can try your luck abroad, develop your professional knowledge in an international environment and gain practical experience, for which our Faculty provides many supports. One of the most important elements of this is the Erasmus+ program, within the framework of which you can participate in part-time studies or internships. You can also take part in a double degree program offered jointly with AVANS University.

Opportunities

Erasmus+

With the help of the Erasmus+ program, you have the opportunity to study at a foreign higher education institution for 3–12 months, to complete an internship at a company or organisation located in an Erasmus+ program country (2–12 months), or even to combine the two activities (3–12 months). (You can also complete an internship as a newly graduated student in the year following your graduation, provided you submit your application as an active student before graduation.)

Apply for an Erasmus mobility application if

  • you want to supplement your studies with experience abroad;
  • you have a study average of marks that reaches or exceeds the average;
  • you are interested in the culture, language, history of a country and would like to spend a semester in that country in the next school year;
  • you know how many pluses a period of study abroad means during your subsequent employment or studies.
Dual degree programme

The Faculty currently has a dual degree programme with AVANS University of Applied Sciences in Breda, the Netherlands. Students who participate in this program, at the end of their training period, after completing their subjects and defending their thesis, will obtain both a BUEB and an AVANS degree.

More opportunities

In addition to the above direct interinstitutional agreements, our students can travel abroad for part-time study and study trips through a number of additional scholarship opportunities. Of these, special mention should be made of:

  • CEEPUS (Central European Mobility Program),
  • and the U.S. Fulbright Scholarship Program.

In addition, we are proud to be part of the Business Management across Europe programme coordinated by the University College Leuven-Limberg (UCLL) in Belgium from 2020 onwards. YOU CAN FIND MORE INFORMATION HERE.
