The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy (FFA) conducts important professional activities as one of the latest departments of the Faculty. Our professors and researchers are characterized by dedication, openness and curiosity, working together as an inspiring professional community to serve the needs of the students, corporate and other professional communities in a way that allows the departmental community to find its own values, opportunities and identity.
In our educational activities, the Management and Business Administration bachelor’s program is a key focus, which is one of the most popular business undergraduate programs both nationally and internationally. Additionally, the Business Development and Supply Chain Management master’s programs aim to meet the latest labour market demands in line with domestic and international business trends. Our portfolio also includes several important professional courses related to the other programs offered by FFA.
In addition to our educational activities characterized by a commitment to continuous innovation, we also pay significant attention to scientific research. Our diverse topics offer numerous opportunities for synergy including various areas of management, strategic management, service management, innovation management, customer relationship management, sustainability-related issues, consumer behaviour trends and changes, current issues in entrepreneurship, the entrepreneurial ecosystem, family business, startups, SMBs, competitiveness and international business management, challenges in measuring corruption perception, and talent management.
The Department maintains close relationships with BBU Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Budapest Lab , the Future of Higher Education Research Centre (FHERC), and the Centre of Excellence for Sustainability Impacts in Business and Society (CESIBUS).
