Introduction

I have been teaching German at the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy of BUEB and its predecessors since 2001, both in the full-time and correspondence programmes, as well as in the Higher Education Vocational Programme.

During the period of 2007-2018 I headed the German and other languages section. My tasks included, in addition to the teaching of business German, the conducting of examinations in the fields of business and financial language, the preparation of examination materials, the organisation, coordination and overseeing of the tasks of the German language section. I was also responsible for the coordination and management of the optional and extra courses offered by the Language Department.
