Introduction

I am also a philosopher by training and by "mode" of interest. I defended my PhD thesis (Title: The potential for fulfilment in existential disability: Insights into the meaning of the concept) in the Doctoral School of Sociology and Communication Studies at BCE, in 2021, with Summa Cum Laude. My research focuses on exploring the life, hermeneutical and Buddhist philosophical dimensions of disability, deep accessibility and spiritual based economic models.
I share the German existential philosopher Karl Jaspers' comment that: one of the fundamental tasks of philosophy is to deepen and live communication. It is along this line that my thesis has become linked to both the disciplines of communication and sociology.
During my doctoral studies, as a UNKP fellow, I researched the explicit and implicit relations between communication, tourism and Oriental philosophy, as well as the philosophical interface of network studies.
During my training, I had the opportunity to undertake a five-week internship in the Philosophy Department at University College Dublin. This not only helped me to develop my English language skills but also deepened my knowledge of philosophy.
