On April 25, the Culture Fest took place at the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy of Budapest University of Economics and Business. The event was organized by the mentors of the BEE Program, the faculty’s mentoring initiative.
Two student groups—representing Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan—held engaging presentations about their cultures. It was both informative and fun, and even included a quiz afterwards.
Meanwhile, international students prepared traditional dishes from their home countries, which were served during the event. The students who contributed came from Algeria, Azerbaijan, Cambodia, India, Jordan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. The food turned out to be absolutely delicious!
A few talented Pakistani girls offered beautiful henna tattoos for those interested, adding an artistic and personal touch to the experience.
To close the festival, several students performed traditional dances from their countries. Performers came from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and South Asian countries including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Pakistan.
