Introduction

I am an Associate Professor at Budapest University of Economics and Business (BUEB) in Hungary. I have a well-founded Higher Education (HE) background, specializing in various learning management systems, like Moodle, intercultural communication, lecturing, and educational technology. I hold a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education from the University of Szeged in Hungary. Over the past decades, I have published my research, which can be found in The Hungarian Scientific Bibliography Database (MTMT) and on international research sites such as ResearchGate or Google Scholar. Additionally, I have been a part of several research teams and European applications at our university and have conducted courses on the effective use of digital tools.

Since 2011, I have held the esteemed position of the National Contact of Hungary at EUROCALL, a prominent European organization for Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL). My recent work has been centered around various Mobil-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) projects, including gamification, and I have actively contributed to Project-Based Language Learning (PBLL) research. In 2019, my colleagues from the German Section at BUEB and I were honored with the prestigious 'European Language Label' for our PBLL project.

Furthermore, I am a member of the Public Body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, specifically in the Department of Philosophical and Historical Sciences, Committee of Pedagogical Sciences. In 2022, I received the Excellent Teacher Award, which was given for the first time by the Budapest University of Economics and Business.
