The Faculty of International Management and Business celebrates the 50th anniversary of operations as a higher education institution this year. We have opened the Room of the Future, received video messages from our partners, and had banquets with our main stakeholders:
As a part of the celebrations, the Faculty launches the Room of the Future during this academic year. The below video provides an overview of the various digital solutions, which support our students: Artificial Intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR), business simulation games, virtual reality (VR) and other tools.

Faculty and staff members of the Faculty of International Management and Business answered to a survey on the most relevant characteristics of FIMB now and on their opinion about the most relevant characteristics of FIMB in 2071. The most frequent words used to describe these characteristics were the followings:
- The Faculty now: DEVELOPMENT - BUSINESS - PRACTICE-ORIENTED - TRADITION - DIVERSITY
- The Faculty in 2071: INNOVATION - SUCCESS - DYNAMIC - INTERNATIONAL - STUDENT-FRIENDLY
Former and current colleagues celebrated our 50th anniversary on November 23, 2021. Dr. Katalin Csekő, Dean of FIMB has opened the event, followed by speeches from Dr. Gedeon Totth, former director of the MA Marketing porgramme, representing former colleagues; Dr. Balázs Ferkelt, Head of Department (International Relations), representing the current academic faculty; and Ms Éva Balázs, Head of Financial Office, on behalf of the non-academic staff. And then came the cake!
We have celebrated our anniversary with our corporate partners on November 24, 2021. The event commenced with the opening of the Room of the Future, when Dr. László Budai, manager of the project has given the key to the room to Ms. Eszter Bodnár, President of the FIMB Student Union. The participating top managers and corporate executives were greeted by Dr. Katalin Csekő, Dean of FIMB. Our keynote speakers were Ms Enikő Győri, MEP (via videomessage), Dr Kristóf Szabó, CEO of HEPA (Hungarian Export Promotion Agency), and Prof. Dr. Balázs Heidrich, Rector of BBU. Before and after the speeches, the Fool Moon a cappella band entertained the audience.
