Faculty of International Management and Business

I have been working for the Department of International Business Languages at the Budapest Business School for more than 25 years. During this time, I have taught a wide range of subjects including General and Business English, Contrastive Country Studies, Project Documentation, English for Marketing, Stylistics and Pragmatics Specialized Translation, Discourse Analysis for Translators, Presentation and Writing Skills, etc. In addition to teaching seminars, I also hold lectures in Translation Studies in our postgraduate translator and interpreter training program. My research interests include applied linguistics, translation studies, pragmatics and terminology. I am engaged in active research in these fields, I regularly give presentations at Hungarian and international conferences of Applies Linguistics and Translation Studies and I publish my results. I am a member of the Hungarian Association of Applied Linguists and Language Teachers.
