Introduction
Dr. Katalin Kiss PhD is a college lecturer at Budapest Business School Department of International Business Languages. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Linguistics and also an MA in Economics, majoring in Finance. Her main fields of research in linguistics are morphology, semantics and contrastive linguistics; the main fields of interest in economics are marketing and financial management. She has been a permanent member of the teaching staff at BBS since 2000. She has been teaching a range of business subjects realated to various fields of economics such as the language of international transactions, corporate communication, logistics and international trade and the language of negotiations. Beyond the above-mentioned courses, she has delivered lectures for the undegraduates of Miklós Káldor College for Advanced Studies. During the years of teaching Dr.Katalin Kiss participated in numerous departmental projects, among others, the UNHCR project, Country Branding Ersamus project and also coordinated ‘The Age of Start-ups’ event- Professional English Day organized for the undergradute students. Since 2019 she is in charge of a new project, the Online Language Center set up by the Department of International Business Languages.
