Introduction

Through the four decades of my service in higher education, I gained extensive experience in teaching history of economic thought and economics (microeconomics and macroeconomics). I started my career at the Corvinus University of Budapest (BCE, former BKÁE, BKE, MKKE) at the Department of History of Economic Thought, where I worked as full-time professor and researcher for decades: since 1997 as associate professor, between 2011 and 2013 as Head of Department. As of 2014 I participate in the education at the BCE as Private Professor, currently as lecturer at the Institute of Economics. I joined the Budapest Business School, Faculty of International Management and Business in 2000, first as a part-time lecturer, since 2014 as a full-time associate professor, between 2014 and 2017 as Head of Department of Economics. Currently I am associate professor at the Institute of International Economics.; As a lecturer of history of economics, I have been involved in the work of further higher education institutions.; I am regularly participating in the development of the educational profile of economics and history of economic thought subjects, in the compilation and development of modern curriculum, and in textbook writing.; I am glad to support the scientific work of my students since decades. At the beginning of my career, I participated in the establishment of a college for advanced studies, and in the management of its professional work. Later on, I led courses and gave professional lectures for the request of several colleges.; The majority of my publications are dealing with the history of economic thought, published mainly as book chapters. I participated in the publishing works of several volumes of the Hungarian Classics of Economics series published between 2001–2008. As an organizer of scientific conferences, memorial exhibitions, book presentations and as a professional consultant of virtual exhibitions, I gained extensive experience in organizing science.
