The Department of International Relations, in cooperation with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Hungary and with the support of the European Parliament, regularly organises study abroad trips for undergraduate and master's students in international studies and students specialising in economic diplomacy in international management. In December 2015 and 2018 we visited Strasbourg, in 2016 Vienna and in December 2019 Brussels and Luxembourg to get acquainted with the workings of several EU institutions and international organisations.
In the framework of an exchange programme between BBU Faculty of International Management and Business (FIMB) and the University of Josai, Hungarian and Japanese students research various topics together every year in a collaborative way. Preparations start via the internet 3 months before the Japanese research team arrives in Hungary, when the students can ask each other questions via video conferences. During the ten-day programme in Hungary, the Hungarian and Japanese student groups listen to professional lectures, visit museums, institutions, and companies, and present their research results in a joint final presentation in front of an audience.
