The Robert Bosch Lean Management Corporate Department (with the support of the Bosch Group in Hungary) is announcing for the third time the „Best Thesis on logistics” award for the BSc graduates in the academic year 2024/2025 who taking final exam in June 2024 or January 2025. We are looking for theses that contain up-to-date procedures, results, methods and knowledge in the field of logistics, supply chain or lean management.
The "Best Thesis on Logistics" award goes to the author of the best thesis written in Hungarian and the best thesis written in English.
Students who graduated in June 2024 or January 2025 and participated in a full-time or correspondence BSc. program can apply if
- they wrote their thesis on logistics or areas closely related to logistics (supply, supply chain, transport chain, inventory-warehousing, distribution, recycling, procurement, production, lean management, IT, controlling, quality assurance, etc.)
- their thesis written in Hungarian or English
- received at least a good (4) grade for their thesis and obtained a degree with at least a good (4) rating.
- their thesis is not classified, or if it is classified, the author undertakes that the thesis can be read in its entirety by the members of the evaluation committee, and if it is awarded, then the professional work included in it and its main results can be published after prior consultation and approval. The author attaches his individual statement to the application.
The application must include the following:
- One electronic copy of a thesis in .pdf format that is completely and verbatim identical to the thesis defended in the final exam
- The internal consultant's recommendation as an attachment
- Application form filled out electronically by the applicant
- a document confirming the grade of the thesis
- a document confirming the qualification of the diploma

Applications submitted to the Robert Bosch Lean Management Corporate Department will be judged during February 2025 by the managers of the Hungarian Bosch sites who take an active role in the work of the corporate department and the winning applicants will be notified of the results by March 31, 2025

The awards will be presented in a ceremonial setting by the head of the Robert Bosch Lean Management Corporate Department or a senior representative at the BGE Faculty of International Management and Business' graduation ceremony council meeting in April 2025.
The expectations for the thesis are as follows
- The thesis is closely related to the field of logistics, supply chain and lean management
- Your topic choice is current and relevant, you analyze a well-defined problem statement or solve a specific problem along clear objectives and expectations
- The thesis also contains a feasible idea or ideas and their practical use and concrete usefulness.
- The thesis contains an innovative perspective and a novel methodology and model.
- The thesis contains modern knowledge, tools and applications (e.g. digitization).
- The thesis contains an analytical, evaluative and in-depth study.
- The thesis meets the form and content requirements of the educational institution (BGE) for the thesis.
