On April 23 the Faculty of International Management and Business was visited by students and lecturers from our Belgian partner institution, Thomas More University.
In the framework of a several -week-long joint project the students worked in mixed BGE - Thomas More teams. The task was to improve the marketing mix of a spa in Budapest or in the countryside and to reduce its ecological footprint.
The event was opened by Dr. Laura Furcsa Faculty Head for International Affairs. After the welcome speech the jury, comprising BBU and Thomas More professors and health tourism specialists, as well as the other project participants, listened to the presentations of seven shortlisted teams. At the end of the programme attendees were given the opportunity to socialise over sandwiches and refreshments.
The members of the winning team were able to enjoy the hospitality of a Budapest spa, courtesy of Budapest Gyógyfürdői és Hévizei Zrt.
Nearly 200 students participated in the event. On behalf of FIMB the collaboration was organised by Dr. Erika Huszár and Dr. Dávid Harsányi.
