Prof Peter Bishop, the founder of the Foresight programme of the University of Houston has visited our university. In his keynote speech at the BabelFest conference he discussed what specialties the thinking and language of foresight reflects. In a workshop to colleagues prof Bishop gave an introduction to the world of foresight. He also met the students of the Future consciousness development research programme. In addition, he gave an overview on the Teach the Future movement at the meeting of the Futures research Sub-committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, extended by the representatives of the public education, teachers and colleagues of teachers’ training. At the end of the programme the participants officially formed the Hungarian Hub of the Teach the Future.
