On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, the Faculty of International Management and Business hosted 31 students and two guest lecturers from the Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences in Antwerp, Belgium. After their arrival, the students took part in a Campus Tour, during which they got to take a look at the main landmarks of our campus, including the library, the dormitory and the sports facilities and they also gained an insight into the University's past and the courses taking place here. In the meantime, the two guest lecturers discussed the possibilities of strengthening and expanding inter-university partnerships at the International Office.
Then, one half of the students visited László Csonka's Innovation and Catch-up: The Various Experiences of Asian Economies, and the other half visited András Szakmáry's International Business Communication class. At the end of the day, the programs ended with a group photo.
Both guest lecturers, Professor Eddy Van Hemelrijck and Carolina Arrenondo will be joining us online next week as part of the Intensive Week course Current Issues in International Business 2, where they will both give lectures.
