Dear Students, 

For second-year students of the International Business Economics and the Trade and Marketing BSc programmes the period for choosing specialisation is according the academic calendar 21 June 2021 08:00 – 4 July 2021 23:59. You can submit your application through Neptun. 

If you are a re-admitted student or have changed your faculty or university, please, contact Student Services, you will be not able to register through Neptun. 

According section (26) § 57 of the REQUIREMENT SYSTEM FOR STUDENTS OF THE BUDAPEST BUSINESS SCHOOL:”

„In programmes, where the curriculum includes specialisations each student shall choose a specialisation in the Electronic Study System after the examination period prior to the first specialisation semester. The allocation to specialisation shall be based on the cumulative credit index of the student: the student capacity of specialisation shall be filled on the basis of the ranking order created on the basis of the credit index. When the number of students allocated to a particular specialisation has been reached, the faculty may decide to increase the student capacity or to allocate other applicants to other specialisation programmes. The decisions related to allocation to specialisation are made by the dean on the basis of the proposals of teachers responsible for programmes and specialisation. „

 

Each specialisation will be launched only in case of enough (minimum number) of applicants.

In the case of Curriculums issued in 2017 and 2020 specialisations can be chosen after successful completion of the 4th semester. Applications can be submitted by students who have completed at least 75 credits and fulfilled the pre-requisite subjects according to the table below.

In the case of Curriculums issued in 2017 and 2020

BSc in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ECONOMICS IN ENGLISH (FULL-TIME)

In the case of Curriculums issued in 2017 and 2020 specialisations can be chosen after successful completion of the 4th semester. Applications can be submitted by students who have completed at least 75 credits and fulfilled the pre-requisite subjects according to the table below.

Full-time education

  • International Business Development 40 persons minimum, 100 persons maximum.
  • East Asian Business Studies 15 persons minimum, 40 persons maximum.



BSc in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ECONOMICS IN ENGLISH (PART-TIME)

In the case of Curriculums issued in 2017 and 2020 specialisations can be chosen after successful completion of the 4th semester. Applications can be submitted by students who have completed at least 75 credits and fulfilled the pre-requisite subjects according to the table below.


Part-time education

  • International Business Development/International Entrepreneurship 30 persons minimum., 60 persons maximum.


BSc in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ECONOMICS IN FRENCH (FULL-TIME)

In the case of Curriculums issued in 2017 and 2020 specialisations can be chosen after successful completion of the 4th semester. Applications can be submitted by students who have completed at least 75 credits and fulfilled the pre-requisite subjects according to the table below.


Full-time education

  • International Business Development 40 persons minimum, 100 persons maximum.


In case of Curriculums issued in 2016

BSc in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ECONOMICS IN ENGLISH (FULL-TIME)

In case of Curriculums issued in 2016 and earlier specialisations can be chosen by students who have completed at least 90 credits and fulfilled the pre-requisite subjects according the table below.

Full-time education

  • International Entrepreneurship in English 40 persons minimum, 100 persons maximum.
