Business Management Across Europe

Start your journey at Budapest University of Economics and Business

Are you ready to study business from a truly European perspective?

Would you like to live and learn in multiple countries, build an international network and earn degrees that open doors worldwide?

Then the Business Management across Europe (BME) programme might be your next step!

This unique bachelor’s programme is organised by University Colleges Leuven-Limburg (UCLL), a university of applied sciences based in Belgium, and Budapest University of Economics and Business (BUEB) has joined the programme as a first-year partner.

UCLL offers practice-oriented higher education across several campuses in Flanders and aims to cultivate “Moving Minds” — students who are innovative, broad-minded, and ready to shape their professional future. The institution emphasises the interaction between education, research and real-world practice, supporting students in developing both professional skills and personal growth.

This unique bachelor’s programme allows you to study three years in three different countries, gaining new cultural perspectives while developing independence and professional confidence.

What makes this programme special?

  • Bachelor programme (180 ECTS) taught fully in English
  • Business Management focus with applied, practice-oriented education
  • Study in different countries and experience various teaching styles while international networking
  • Opportunity to graduate with double degrees and strong international career prospects

Application Process of UCLL

Please note that even though your first-year choice is BUEB, the admission process is carried out by UCLL. Below you can find detailed instruction about how to apply to this programme.

Step 1: Create your online application account
  • Create your application account – this is the first step of the centralised BME admission process via UCLL, where your eligibility will be checked.
  • Complete the online application and upload your documents – this allows the admission team to review your academic background.
  • Upload your latest school report (if you don’t yet have your diploma) – you can still apply while finishing your studies.
  • Check the application opening dates:
  • 1 December 2025 for most applicants,
  • 26 April 2026 for Dutch or Flemish diploma holders.
  • Pay the €50 administrative fee (if applicable) – required for applicants without a Dutch or Flemish secondary-school diploma.
  • Create a KU Leuven Association account – needed because UCLL is part of the KU Leuven Association (not required if you previously applied to KU Leuven, LUCA School of Arts, UCLL, Vives or Odisee).

Step 3: Application review and admission decision at UCLL

Your application is reviewed by the UCLL International Office. Dutch and Flemish applicants who meet the requirements are accepted automatically, while other applications are reviewed manually. If accepted, you will receive an email with instructions on how to enrol at your chosen first-year partner and confirm your participation in the BME programme.
