Introduction

Csaba Jáki has been teaching English for nearly three decades. He began his career in secondary education and language schools, where he taught General English, language examination preparation courses, and Business English for corporate clients.

In 2007, he joined the predecessor institution of BUEB as a part-time instructor at the Faculty of Commerce, Catering and Tourism. There he taught English for Specific Purposes in higher vocational and bachelor's programmes in Tourism and Hospitality, Hospitality Management, Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Management, and European Union Studies.

Since 2009, he has continued his academic career at the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy and, more recently, at the Centre for Foreign Languages and Language Exams (CFLLE). His teaching focuses primarily on English for Specific Purposes in the fields of finance and accountancy, information technology, business administration, and human resource management. A central element of his teaching philosophy is the development of students' practical language competence and their ability to communicate effectively in professional contexts.
